Boris Bidjan Saberi, a brand synonymous with avant-garde fashion, was established by German-Iranian designer Boris Bidjan Saberi in 2006. Known for its unique fusion of streetwear and high-fashion, the brand quickly captured the attention of the global fashion elite with its meticulous craftsmanship and innovative designs.

Born in Munich in 1978, Saberi was influenced by his diverse heritage. His father, an Iranian musician, and his German mother, who had roots in tailoring, instilled in him an appreciation for both artistic expression and technical skill. Saberi’s early interest in skate culture and punk music significantly shaped his design aesthetics.

In 1996, despite initially facing parental skepticism, Saberi moved to Barcelona to study fashion at the prestigious Istituto Europeo di Design. His time there allowed him to hone his craft, blending traditional tailoring with cutting-edge techniques. After completing his studies, Saberi remained in Barcelona, establishing his eponymous label in 2006.

The brand is celebrated for its innovative use of materials, often employing unconventional resources such as kangaroo leather, horsehair, and hand-dyed fabrics. Saberi is renowned for his experimental dyeing processes; his signature shades of black and grey are achieved through various hand-dyeing techniques. Saberi's collections frequently draw inspiration from his cultural background and personal interests. His Fall/Winter 2019 collection, for example, showcased a blend of nomadic influences and utilitarian design, reflecting his Iranian heritage and fascination with survivalist gear.
