John Ribbe, born in Hamburg, is a renowned fashion designer with an international footprint in New York, Paris, and Japan. Ribbe began his journey in fashion by studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. He moved to Paris, where he debuted his first fashion show in 1993. A member of the Chambre Syndicale du Prêt-à-Porter, Ribbe splits his time between Hamburg and Paris. In 2011, he expanded his brand to include a line of graphic, customizable handbags made from high-quality full-grain leather, produced in Belgium.
