Joseph Altuzarra, born and raised in Paris, possesses a culturally rich background with a Chinese-American mother and a French-Italian father. Before founding his eponymous label, Altuzarra honed his skills at some of the most revered fashion houses. He graduated from Swarthmore College with a degree in Art and Art History, then went on to work for Marc Jacobs, followed by a stint at Proenza Schouler. His notable tenure under Nicolas Ghesquière at Balenciaga further sculpted his creative perspective.
