Zuhair Murad

Zuhair Murad is a renowned Lebanese fashion designer, known for his exquisite and romantic designs. Born in Ras Baalbek, Lebanon, on July 15, 1971, Murad was raised in a Melkite Catholic family. His passion for fashion began at a young age, with his mother noting that he started drawing at the age of three and began creating fashion illustrations by the time he was ten. At fifteen, Murad decided to pursue fashion design as a career, drawing inspiration from designers such as Christian Dior, Schiaparelli, Balmain, and Balenciaga.

Murad's fashion journey began with his first client, his sister's friend, for whom he designed an engagement dress. This early success encouraged him to continue his pursuit of fashion design. After completing high school, Murad moved to Paris to study fashion, eventually opening his first flagship store in Beirut in 1995. In 1999, he made his debut on the catwalks of Rome, which led to his participation in the Italian calendar.

Zuhair Murad's designs have gained international recognition and have been worn by numerous celebrities, including Adele, Marion Cotillard, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Ivana Trump, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Beyoncé Knowles, Jennifer Lopez, Kellie Pickler, Najwa Karam, Shakira, Katy Perry, Christina Applegate, Vanessa Williams, and Ana Ortiz.
