Collett Design Associates, a distinguished London-based design practice, has been a prominent force in the architecture and interior design industry since its founding in 1985. The firm was originally established as Collett-Zarzycki by Anthony Collett, a visionary designer with a rich background in fine art sculpture, interior design, and environmental design. Collett's early education in Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia) and South Africa, followed by advanced studies in the United Kingdom, equipped him with a unique blend of cultural insights and artistic sensibilities that continue to influence his work.

Anthony Collett's professional journey began with his collaboration with renowned designer John Stefanidis, where he honed his skills before launching his own practice. Collett-Zarzycki quickly gained a reputation for its classic contemporary style, a design approach that marries the elegance of classical architecture with modern functionality and aesthetics. The firm underwent a significant transformation in 2020 when Andrzej Zarzycki, Collett's long-time business partner, retired. Today, the studio is co-led by Anthony Collett and his daughter Georgia Collett, who joined the firm in 2013 and became a director in 2018. Georgia, with her background in textiles and fashion from Central Saint Martins and the Royal College of Art, brings a fresh perspective to the firm's projects, balancing pattern, color, and structure with the rigor of her training.
