Salvatore Castano, a distinguished sommelier, has made significant contributions to the wine and spirits industry over the past decade. His career began in London at The Dorchester, where he worked as a Commis Sommelier, laying the foundation for his future success. Castano's expertise and passion have led him to serve as a judge for prestigious events such as the International Wine & Spirit Competition and the London Wine Competition, where he has been recognized for his exceptional taste and knowledge.

Throughout his career, Castano has held positions in renowned London restaurants, further developing his palate and understanding of wine and spirits. His contributions have been recognized with various awards, including being named Best Sommelier of Europe and Africa by the Court of Master Sommeliers in November 2021. Currently, he holds the position of Head Sommelier & On Trade Advisor at Friarwood, a prominent wine boutique in London, where he continues to share his expertise and further his influence in the industry.
