Paris Design Week

Paris Design Week is an annual event that celebrates the world of design in the heart of Paris. Lasting for a week, it brings together designers, artists, architects, and creative enthusiasts from around the globe. With its rich cultural heritage and reputation as a global design hub, Paris transforms into a playground for creativity during this week-long extravaganza.

The event features a diverse range of exhibitions, installations, workshops, conferences, and product launches, highlighting the latest trends and cutting-edge ideas in design. From furniture and fashion to graphic design and technology, the event encompasses various design disciplines, fostering cross-pollination and collaboration.

One of the highlights is Paris Design Factory, where emerging designers' works are showcased, curated by Studio Marant. In previous years, standout showcases have included Capucine Guhur's self-published OKO collection, Raphael Pontais's wooden sculptures draped in luxurious Élitis fabrics, and Amca Oval's modular metal bookcase.

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche, a renowned department store, celebrates Spain with a pop-up, showcasing Roissy de Palma's life and Spanish craftsmanship. The Sinople gallery introduces the Horizon exhibition, showcasing emerging Belgian design scene with artists Joris Verstrepen, Thibeau Scarcériaux, Charlotte Anne Declercq, Elias Van Orshaegen, and photography works of Rana Van Pellecom.

Paris Design Week also features the "Think Pink!" exhibition by Uchronia, unveiling their first outdoor furniture collection at the Orangerie of the majestic Hôtel de Sully, paying homage to the timeless film "Funny Face".

In addition to these, Paris Design Week includes a 10-day fringe event with new concept stores, staged window displays, vernissages, and festive events throughout the city. The event is a testament to the commitment to craftsmanship, storytelling, and timeless elegance, showcasing the latest ceramic, glass, and olfactory creations inspired by French history and culture.
