The Davos Agenda

The Davos Agenda, the flagship event of the World Economic Forum (WEF), is an annual gathering that takes place in the picturesque mountain resort of Davos, Switzerland. Established in 1971, the WEF is an international non-governmental organization based in Cologny, Geneva Canton, committed to improving the state of the world by engaging leaders from various sectors, including business, politics, academia, and civil society. The Davos Agenda serves as a platform for these leaders to shape global, regional, and industry agendas, addressing pressing issues and collaborating on solutions.

Held in January, the Davos Agenda attracts around 3,000 participants, including prominent figures from more than 100 governments, international organizations, 1,000 partner companies, civil society leaders, up-and-coming leaders, experts, social entrepreneurs, and members of the media. The event is known for its rigorous curation, ensuring a highly focused and diverse group of delegates.

Over the course of five days, participants engage in up to 500 sessions, discussing a wide range of topics.
