artgenève is an internationally recognized contemporary art exhibition held annually in Geneva, Switzerland, since its inauguration in 2012. Established during the winter season, artgenève takes place at Palexpo, a strategic location that attracts collectors from prestigious ski resorts and encourages visitors from Italy, Paris, and German-speaking Switzerland. The fair has grown from welcoming 25 galleries in its early years to nearly 80 international galleries and exhibitors, showcasing a diverse range of modern and contemporary art.

artgenève is known for its unique approach, which emphasizes the synergy between galleries and institutions. The fair welcomes not only gallery owners but also institutions, fostering a dynamic exchange between different sectors of the art world. This inclusivity has resulted in artgenève attracting nearly 400 collectors, museum specialists, leading art schools, and gallerists from around the world during its opening night.

In addition to the main exhibition, artgenève features 'pop-up' sculptures around the city in collaboration with the City of Geneva and participating galleries, as well as a noteworthy exhibition at the lake. These initiatives aim to engage the local community and enhance the overall visitor experience.
