Artissima

Artissima, held in Turin, Italy, is a renowned contemporary art fair that has been a staple of the international art scene since its inception in 1994. The fair is known for its combination of an international market and a focus on experimentation and research, attracting nearly two hundred galleries from around the world each year.

Artissima is divided into several sections, each with its own unique focus. The Main Section, Monologue/Dialogue, New Entries, and Art Spaces & Editions are the fair's flagship sections, while three curated sections are devoted to emerging artists (Present Future), the rediscovery of pioneering contemporary artists (Back to the Future), and drawing (Disegni). These curated sections are headed by a board of international curators and museum directors and are hosted in the fair pavilion with monographic booths, as well as on the dedicated digital platform Artissima Voice Over with in-depth presentations.

In addition to the fair, Artissima also hosts a series of talks and initiatives, including "Made In," a collaboration with four companies that host artists-in-residence, and the illy Present Future Award, which expands the fair's reach into the city with three curated projects. The fair also aims to open a dialogue with the Fondazione Torino Musei, Main Partner Intesa Sanpaolo, and partners UNA Esperienze and illycaffè.
