Antigua Yacht Show
The Antigua Charter Yacht Show, established in 1961, is an annual event that takes place at the beginning of the Caribbean sailing season, serving as a significant multinational networking platform for Charter Yacht Brokers, Captains, Vendors, and Press. This prestigious gathering occurs in the historic surroundings of Nelson's Dockyard, Antigua, attracting attendees from North America, Europe, and the Caribbean islands.
Antigua's convenient location, with direct flights from major international airports, makes it easily accessible. The Admirals' Inn and Gunpowder Suites, situated in Nelson's Dockyard, offer accommodations in four 18th-century historic buildings.
The show features approximately sixty attending yachts, ranging from under 50ft to 231ft and over, with Motor Yachts, Sailing Yachts, and Multihulls on display in the on-the-water show. The Antigua Charter Yacht Show attracts around 75 superyachts annually, which are berthed across the show locations of Nelson’s Dockyard Marina in English Harbour, Falmouth Harbour Marina, and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina in Falmouth Harbour.
In addition to the yacht inspections, the event offers a lively social programme, including welcome parties, broker lunches, evening yacht hops, and activity days. A notable highlight is the chef competition, one of the most respected culinary contests in the charter industry, with a different theme each year.
