Malta Classic

The Malta Classic is an annual event that celebrates the elegance and allure of classic cars, attracting enthusiasts, visitors, and families to the historic island of Malta. Established in 2007 by French entrepreneur and classic car enthusiast Thierry Giovannoni, the event has become a significant fixture in the global classic car calendar.

The Malta Classic comprises three captivating events: the Malta Classic Hill Climb, the Malta Classic Concours d'Elegance by Mdina Glass, and the Malta Classic Grand Prix. The Hill Climb event showcases vintage cars racing against the clock on the beautiful Mtaħleb hill, while the Concours d'Elegance focuses on the style and elegance of classic cars, with participants encouraged to dress in period attire. The Grand Prix is the highlight of the event, where iconic and sought-after classic cars compete in thrilling races, pushing the limits of speed, power, and performance.

Over 70 pre-1976 cars have participated in previous editions of the Malta Classic, including some truly unique vehicles, making it a must-attend event for classic car enthusiasts. The event's rich history dates back to its inception in 2007, when it was first organized as a Classic Car Grand Prix on the ring road of Valletta, bringing some of Europe's finest classic cars to Malta.
