Jewellery Arabia

Jewellery Arabia, established in 1992, is the largest and most prestigious jewellery exhibition in the Middle East. This annual event, held under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, has consistently drawn over 600 exhibitors from approximately 30 countries, showcasing a diverse range of offerings from high-end jewellery and luxury timepieces to precious stones of various sizes, shapes, and cuts.

Occupying a sprawling 54,000 sqm area, Jewellery Arabia is recognised as the world's largest B2C luxury exhibition, offering free admission to visitors. The event has witnessed remarkable sales figures, with a significant portion of attendees hailing from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.

Jewellery Arabia is not only a platform for international jewellery houses but also a showcase for regional and local talents, including new designers and dedicated zones for pearls, watches, and emerging talents. The event's inclusivity extends to a traditional Bahraini 'Gold Souq', providing a unique cultural experience.

The Kingdom of Bahrain boasts a rich pearling history, with the majority of its population engaged in pearling in the 1920s. This heritage is preserved and celebrated through DANAT, the world's number one pearl laboratory and the only laboratory in the region represented at Jewellery Arabia. DANAT plays a pivotal role in maintaining industry standards, scientific knowledge, and education, and is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards.

In addition to the exhibition, Jewellery Arabia offers visitors the opportunity to have their pearls, gemstones, and jewellery verified through quick E-assessments provided by DANAT. The event also features a Pearl & Shell Exhibition, offering insights into the traditional diving equipment used by pearl divers and providing hands-on experiences with oyster shucking.
