EXIT Festival

EXIT Festival is a renowned summer music festival held at the historic Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia. Established in 2000 as a student movement advocating for democracy and freedom in Serbia and the Balkans, the festival has since grown into an international event, attracting over 1000 artists who perform across more than 40 stages and festival zones.

Novi Sad, the second-largest city in Serbia and the capital of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, is the birthplace of EXIT Festival. Known for its 17th-century fortress and rich cultural and historical heritage, the city is a thriving tourist destination, hosting prestigious events and cultural institutions such as Matica Srpska, Serbian National Theater, and Sterijino Pozorje.

The Petrovaradin Fortress, where EXIT Festival takes place, boasts a vibrant history, having been part of the Roman Empire, the Kingdom of Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, and the Habsburg Monarchy. The fortress, which took 88 years to reach its current form, is a unique example of military architecture from the Habsburg Monarchy era and is adorned with numerous cultural institutions, events, and symbols.

EXIT Festival's stages showcase a diverse range of musical genres, with the Gorki List Main Stage hosting some of the biggest names in rock, pop, hip-hop, and house music. The mts Dance Arena is a highlight for electronic music fans, known for its magical sunrises. The NSNS stage brings the atmosphere of the world's best clubs to the Fortress, while the Fusion Stage merges incompatible genres. The Explosive Stage caters to hardcore, metal, punk, and extreme subgenre fans. Additionally, the festival features stages like Gang Beats Stage, X-Bass Pit, Wenti Wadada Positive Vibrations Reggae Stage, Gaia Trance Stage, and Latino Stage.

EXIT Festival has also expanded its reach, organizing events in three countries in Southeast Europe: No Sleep Festival in Belgrade, Serbia; Sea Star Festival in Umag, Croatia; Exit Festival in Novi Sad, Serbia; Sea Dance Festival in August; and Ada Divine Awakening Festival in Ada Bojana, Montenegro.
