Tomorrowland Winter

Tomorrowland Winter is an annual electronic dance music festival held in Alpe d’Huez, a ski resort in the French Alps. Launched in 2019 as a winter edition of the internationally renowned Tomorrowland festival, it combines electronic music with a mountain setting, offering attendees an immersive experience amidst snow-covered landscapes. The event is organized by We Are One World, the Belgian company behind the flagship Tomorrowland festival, which has been a defining presence in electronic dance culture since 2005.

Set at an altitude ranging from 1,860 to 3,330 meters, Tomorrowland Winter features multiple stages situated across the ski slopes and in the resort village, creating a unique fusion of music, winter sports, and alpine scenery. Attendees, also known as "People of Tomorrow," can ski or snowboard to various stages, enhancing the festival’s integration with its surroundings. The lineup features leading international DJs across diverse subgenres of electronic dance music, including house, techno, and trance.

Beyond music, the festival offers a range of winter activities, from snowboarding and skiing to après-ski gatherings and themed experiences. The event’s design incorporates Tomorrowland’s signature visual storytelling, featuring elaborate stage constructions, pyrotechnics, and digital art displays inspired by fantasy and mythology. With a limited audience compared to its summer counterpart, Tomorrowland Winter maintains an intimate atmosphere while preserving the grand visual and auditory elements that define the brand.
