Bravo! Vail

Bravo! Vail is an annual classical music festival held in Vail, Colorado, known for its exceptional programming and commitment to accessibility. Established over three decades ago, the festival has grown to become one of the premier music events in North America, renowned for hosting four of the world's finest orchestras in a single season.

The festival's six-week run, starting in late June and ending in early August, features a diverse range of concerts, including chamber music, classical music, jazz, and pops, performed by distinguished ensembles such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic, as well as chamber music artists.

Bravo! Vail is dedicated to fostering a love for music within the community, offering more than half of its programs for free each summer. The festival's education and engagement initiatives include community concerts, family-friendly performances, and music appreciation events, ensuring that people of all ages and backgrounds have the opportunity to enjoy exceptional music.

Highlights of Bravo! Vail's community concerts include performances by esteemed artists such as members of Mexico's Sinfónica de Minería, trumpet virtuoso Pacho Flores, cuatro player Héctor Molina, The Westerlies, the Dior Quintet, Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concertmaster Alexander Kerr with members of the DSO, Akropolis Reed Quintet, and 2024 Bravo! Vail Piano Fellows Janice Carissa and Ariel Lanyi.

Bravo! Vail's Little Listeners @ the Library series caters to young audiences, with lively, interactive performances by guest artists and ensembles at local libraries, designed to spark imagination and foster a love for music among children aged 2-7.

Inside the Music, a series of enriching discussions, presentations, artist talks, and masterclasses, offers context and expert insight into the music performed at the festival. Topics range from deep dives into Puccini's "La bohème" to examinations of Schubert's Impromptus, masterclasses with renowned musicians, and lectures by distinguished scholars.
