Habits de Lumière

The Habits de Lumière event in Epernay, France, is a three-day celebration of the city's rich gastronomic and cultural heritage, particularly its renowned Champagne production. Epernay, known as the Capital City of Champagne, is home to over 450,000 visitors each year and boasts a stunning vineyard territory of 35,000 hectares. The city's famous Avenue de Champagne hosts many of the world-famous Houses of Champagne, which contribute to the city's illustrious reputation.

During the Habits de Lumière, the city is adorned with vibrant illuminations, creating a magical atmosphere. The event features a variety of activities, including a grand street parade along Avenue de Champagne, exhibitions, musical entertainment, and captivating shows for both children and adults. The Champagne-style art of living is honored through cookery demonstrations by esteemed chefs, oenological workshops, and tastings of regional products, offering visitors the opportunity to savor vintages from small producers and major brands that have shaped the reputation of the Champagne vineyards.
