2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup

The 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup, the ninth edition of the tournament, will be held from June 1 to 29, 2024, in the West Indies and the United States. This marks the first time that a World Cup event will be co-hosted by two nations and the first time that matches will be played in the United States, specifically in Florida, New York, and Texas. The tournament will feature 20 teams, an increase from the previous edition's 16 teams, with England being the defending champions.

The participating teams will be divided into four groups, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super 8 round. The Super 8s will consist of two groups, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the knockout stage, which includes two semi-finals and a final.

The West Indies is hosting the T20 World Cup for the second time, having previously hosted the 2010 edition. The United States is participating for the first time as a co-host, while Canada and Uganda have qualified for the men's T20 World Cup for the first time.

The tournament's opening match will be played between the USA and Canada in Dallas, Texas, on June 1, 2024, where a new sonic brand, the official anthem of the ICC, will make its debut. This anthem, composed by Balfe, encapsulates the dynamic spirit of cricket across its different formats: Test, ODI, and T20Is.

The venues for the tournament include six nations within the West Indies: Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Saint Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, and Trinidad & Tobago. In the United States, three stadia will host World Cup matches: Florida, New York, and Texas. The final will take place at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on June 29.
