Henley Royal Regatta

The Henley Royal Regatta is one of the most prestigious and celebrated rowing events in the world. Held annually on the River Thames in the picturesque town of Henley-on-Thames, England, this event has been a highlight of the British summer sporting calendar since its inception in 1839. Granted the title "Royal" in 1851 after Prince Albert became its patron, the Regatta has enjoyed royal patronage ever since, symbolizing its importance and tradition within the realm of rowing and British culture.
