Audemars Piguet has introduced three new Royal Oak Offshore models, each showcasing distinct designs and a mix of high-quality materials such as coloured rubber, stainless steel, 18-carat pink gold, and black ceramic. These Selfwinding and Selfwinding Chronograph models, available in 37 mm and 43 mm sizes, offer a fresh range of colour combinations like bronze, ivory, and blue while being powered by advanced automatic movements.

The new Royal Oak Offshore models embrace the collection’s rebellious character by blending unconventional materials and breaking traditional watchmaking norms. These timepieces pair stainless steel with black ceramic or pink gold with coloured rubber, resulting in sharp contrasts that enhance their visual appeal.

The first model, designed specifically for smaller wrists, features a 37 mm case made of 18-carat pink gold. Its grey rubber-coated bezel highlights the sporty essence of the collection. The rhodium and ivory Grande Tapisserie dial, polished for a radiant look, is complemented by pink gold hour markers and trapezoidal hands with luminescent coating. The grey inner bezel mirrors the rubber-coated bezel and is paired with a mosaic-patterned rubber strap. An interchangeable black rubber strap is also included for a more contrasting look.

The second model has a 43 mm stainless steel case paired with a blue rubber-coated bezel that matches the strap. The smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial is the focal point, presented in a simple three-hand layout with a date display. The hour markers and Royal Oak hands, crafted in rhodium-toned gold with luminescent material, ensure easy readability even in low light. The blue inner bezel and polished AP monogram at 12 o’clock complete the look. This model also comes with an additional black rubber strap for versatile styling.

The third model is a 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph featuring a stainless steel case and bezel, with black ceramic push-pieces and a crown. Drawing inspiration from Habanos cigars, this version includes a smoked bronze Méga Tapisserie dial with darkened edges that blend seamlessly into the black inner bezel, where a white-printed tachymeter scale enhances functionality. The dial’s subdials at 9, 6, and 3 o’clock mirror the ceramic elements, boosting readability. Luminescent blackened gold hands and hour markers further enhance legibility. This timepiece is fitted with a brown alligator strap with an Oxford hand-finished patina and includes an interchangeable black rubber strap for a sportier appearance.

The cases of these three models, whether in pink gold, stainless steel, or ceramic, are finished with Audemars Piguet’s signature combination of satin-brushed and polished surfaces. This meticulous hand-finishing creates a dynamic play of light, emphasizing the bold architecture of the Royal Oak Offshore line. All three models are powered by cutting-edge self-winding movements that combine reliability, performance, and sophistication, making them ideal for those who lead adventurous lives.

The 37 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding model is driven by Calibre 5900, a slim automatic movement measuring just 3.9 mm thick. It was first introduced in 2022 and is designed for modern use, offering hours, minutes, seconds, and date functions with a high frequency of 4 Hz and a 60-hour power reserve. The 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding model runs on Calibre 4302, a robust movement designed for precision. The 32 mm diameter of the movement improves chronometry, while its 4 Hz frequency and 70-hour power reserve ensure consistent performance.

The 43 mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph is equipped with Calibre 4401, an integrated chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and a vertical clutch system. This mechanism allows for smooth activation, stopping, and resetting of the chronograph, ensuring minimal start-up jumps. The movement also incorporates a flyback function, enabling the user to restart the chronograph without first stopping or resetting it, allowing for seamless consecutive measurements.

Each model is equipped with a sapphire caseback, offering a clear view of the movement’s intricate components. The signature oscillating weight in blackened 22-carat pink gold is a prominent feature, along with decorative techniques like Côtes de Genève, vertical, circular, and sunray brushing, circular graining, and polished chamfers.
