Maringá Tower, Pininfarina and Plaenge

Maringá Tower is the first of five residential towers developed by Plaenge in collaboration with Italian design firm Pininfarina. This project aims to set new benchmarks in urban living, combining innovative design, luxury, and eco-conscious solutions. Located in Maringá, one of Brazil’s greenest cities, the tower integrates natural elements to enhance the living environment, ensuring a blend of modern architecture with the city’s natural surroundings.

The architecture of Maringá Tower focuses on maximising natural light, airflow, and green spaces, aligning with the growing demand for sustainable urban living. The building’s façade, with its unique braided weaving geometry, provides both aesthetic appeal and functional benefits. The design prioritises energy efficiency and ensures a connection between residents and the environment, particularly the adjacent Parque do Ingá.

Large windows and floor-to-ceiling glazing in each residence allow for ample natural light and airflow, promoting a healthier indoor atmosphere. The building’s design ensures visual permeability, with glass handrails that enhance the feeling of openness.

Inside Maringá Tower, the interiors are inspired by the elegance of boutique hotels, featuring high-end materials and modern design. Each apartment comes equipped with custom European cabinetry, Gaggenau kitchen appliances, and spacious bathrooms with freestanding tubs and rainfall showers. The open-concept kitchens are designed with custom Silestone islands, adding to the functionality and style of the living spaces. Ranging in size, the residences offer various layouts that cater to different lifestyles, all with access to expansive views of Parque do Ingá.

Maringá Tower offers a full suite of amenities designed to enhance residents’ well-being and comfort. These include a fitness centre, spa, and personalised services, all within a setting that mirrors the natural beauty of its surroundings. The communal areas are carefully designed with beach-inspired tones, wooden accents, and natural stone flooring, creating a serene atmosphere.

Residents will also have access to a rooftop pool, vitality pool, and a variety of outdoor lounges and cabanas. The landscaped areas, reflecting ponds, and tropical greenery enhance the peaceful ambiance.

In addition to its residential features, Maringá Tower integrates public art into its design, creating a cultural landmark that engages with the surrounding cityscape. This artwork, part of the collaboration between Pininfarina and Plaenge, adds an element of artistic expression and strengthens the tower’s role as an integral part of Maringá’s cultural and visual identity.
