Omniyat has unveiled The Alba, a luxury development on Palm Jumeirah, featuring private residences designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, expansive outdoor terraces, and private pools. ShareOmniyat, Dubai’s leading luxury developer, has officially unveiled its latest project, The Alba, at the Monaco Yacht Club. This mixed-use destination, valued at AED 7 billion ($1.9 billion), will be situated on Dubai’s coastline and represents a new chapter in Dubai’s luxury real estate market. Omniyat’s vision for The Alba will be “reimagined luxury by the sun and sea in Dubai.” The design will reflect Dubai’s seaside charm and provide a personalised waterfront experience, with a focus on creating privacy-centric residences that blend nature and cutting-edge design.
Christopher Cowdray, President of Dorchester Collection, also spoke about The Alba, stating, “The Alba is our next luxury chapter in Dubai in partnership with Omniyat.” He described the development as a sanctuary offering residents privacy and serenity in one of the world’s most dynamic cities. The combination of exceptional design, panoramic sea and city views, and the renowned service of Dorchester Collection is set to redefine luxury in Dubai. Cowdray noted that The Alba would offer an exclusive retreat by the sea, with expansive private terraces and wellness offerings designed to provide a sophisticated oasis for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Zaha Hadid Architects, known for their innovative and award-winning designs, are the creative force behind The Alba. Their architectural vision for this project emphasizes spatial inventiveness, artistic refinement, and environmental consideration. The residences at The Alba are crafted to place the resident at the center of the living experience, with Omniyat’s signature focus on unconventional, privacy-focused design. This latest project from Omniyat will elevate luxury living by seamlessly blending beachfront hospitality with ultra-luxury residential experiences.
The Alba, Dorchester Collection, Dubai will offer a range of private residences, each featuring exclusive amenities such as private pools, outdoor jacuzzis, and elevated sun platforms on expansive terraces. The residences, designed to cater to individuals seeking privacy and serenity, will feature interiors that are bold, bright, and expansive, with over three-meter-high ceilings. The options include two-bedroom furnished units, three-bedroom unfurnished units, and larger simplex and duplex units, as well as penthouses. Each unit is customizable, with three distinct interior design packages available, curated by global leaders in interior design.
In addition to private residential amenities, The Alba will feature social and leisure spaces such as pools with private cabanas, sun loungers, and entertainment areas. Residents will also have access to the hotel’s facilities, including infinity pools, a fitness suite, beach areas, and a branded spa offering luxurious treatment rooms. The wellness center at The Alba, expected to be one of Dubai’s most grand and luxurious, will be operated by a renowned global brand partner, set to be announced next year.
The landscaping at The Alba, designed by internationally acclaimed landscape architect Vladimir Djurovic, is another defining feature of the development. Djurovic’s design integrates nature with the architectural elements of the project, creating a serene environment enriched with tropical gardens, cascading waterfalls, and lily ponds. Shaded walkways wind through the lush gardens, leading down to the waterfront, offering residents a peaceful connection to nature. Omniyat’s commitment to sustainability is evident in this design, with the project aiming to achieve the highest level of WELL Certification from the WELL Building Standard.
Located on the Eastern Crescent of Dubai’s iconic Palm Jumeirah, The Alba will offer panoramic views of some of Dubai’s most famous landmarks, including Dubai Marina, Burj Al Arab, and Burj Khalifa. The design of the hotel, characterised by its singular curved architecture, has been meticulously crafted by renowned design firm Gilles & Boissier. Each of the hotel’s suites will reflect the same level of attention to detail and luxury as the residences, with guests enjoying the Dorchester Collection’s legendary service. Culinary experiences, indulgent spa treatments, and elegantly appointed rooms will define the guest experience at The Alba, further enhancing its status as a luxury coastal destination.
The Alba will be the twelfth Dorchester Collection hotel globally and the second in the Middle East, following the opening of The Lana, Dorchester Collection, Dubai. Additionally, it will be the seventh residential property managed by Dorchester Collection in Dubai. With this project, Omniyat and Dorchester Collection are setting a new benchmark for luxury coastal living in Dubai, blending architectural brilliance with natural beauty and unmatched hospitality.
