Murano
Angela Hartnett's fine Modern European cuisine in light, sophisticated space with chef's table
The food at Murano is a reflection of Angela’s upbringing cooking alongside her Italian grandmother and aunts. The menu features seasonal, modern Italian dishes using the best of British and European produce in clear and approachable ways.
There’s a deliberately informal atmosphere in the restaurant, with an emphasis on ‘fun’ rather than ‘fine’ dining. This approach extends to the menu which is divided into five sections and allows the diner to choose any number of dishes in the order they choose.
The wine list at Murano focuses on small sustainable producers. Italian wines are a speciality with the classic regions of France well covered. The private room of Murano, seating up to 12 guests, features a retractable curtain and a window offering a direct view into the kitchen.
