Aston Martin’s reintroduction of its iconic Vanquish has also led to the momentous debut of the brand’s most powerful and advanced model in its 111-year history. At the heart of the new Vanquish is a 5.2-litre Twin-Turbo V12 engine, a technical marvel that delivers an astonishing 835PS and 1000Nm of torque. This engine, the most powerful ever produced by Aston Martin for its core sports car range, sets a new standard in the supercar segment. The Vanquish can achieve a top speed of 214mph, making it the fastest series production car in Aston Martin’s history.

The engineering excellence of the Vanquish extends beyond its engine. The car features a bespoke chassis that has been meticulously designed to offer a perfect balance of comfort and performance. The Vanquish’s chassis benefits from a 75% increase in lateral stiffness compared to its predecessor, the DBS 770 Ultimate, thanks to additional underbody stiffening components. This enhanced rigidity provides the ideal platform for the advanced suspension system, which includes the latest Bilstein DTX dampers, offering a broader range of refinement and control across the car’s various driving modes.

The Vanquish also introduces several cutting-edge technologies that enhance its dynamic capabilities. For the first time in an Aston Martin V12 sports car, the Vanquish is equipped with an electronic rear limited slip differential (e-diff). This advanced system, integrated with the car’s electronic stability program (ESP), allows for precise management of wheel slip across the rear axle, optimizing traction and stability in all driving conditions. The e-diff can transition from fully open to 100% locked in just 135 milliseconds, providing greater agility in low and medium-speed corners while ensuring stability during high-speed manoeuvres.

In addition to its impressive performance, the Vanquish is a masterpiece of design. The car’s exterior showcases an all-new surface language that embodies contemporary elegance. The increased wheelbase, extended by 80mm between the A-pillar and front axle, accentuates the car’s sleek, elongated profile. The sculpted bonnet, inspired by Formula One thermos louvres, and the distinctive Kamm Tail, which reduces aerodynamic drag, highlight Aston Martin’s deep connection to motorsport. The Panoramic glass roof, a first for an Aston Martin V12, floods the cabin with natural light, enhancing the sense of space and luxury.

The interior of the Vanquish is a study of craftsmanship and precision. Designed as a 2-seat flagship, the interior is focused on delivering a luxurious yet driver-centric experience. The center console has been lowered to create a greater sense of space, while the use of high-quality materials and bold visible lines adds to the overall feeling of luxury. The fully digital 10.25-inch TFT driver display provides clear and customizable information, while the 10.25-inch Pure Black touchscreen system offers intuitive control over the car’s infotainment, climate, and vehicle settings. The infotainment system, developed in-house by Aston Martin, is fully integrated with a new Aston Martin mobile app, allowing owners to interact with their cars remotely.

The Vanquish rides on 21-inch forged alloy wheels, which have been optimized for weight and durability without compromising on design. These wheels are paired with bespoke Pirelli P ZERO tires, developed in close collaboration with Aston Martin to provide exceptional grip and stability in all conditions. The Pirelli Noise Cancelling System (PNCS) further enhances the driving experience by reducing interior noise levels, ensuring that the cabin remains a serene environment, even at high speeds.

In terms of customisation, the Vanquish offers nearly limitless possibilities through the Q by Aston Martin personalisation service. Whether it’s a distinctive paint colour or a one-of-a-kind interior design, Q by Aston Martin enables owners to create a Vanquish that reflects their personal style and taste. Available in limited numbers, this extraordinary car is a statement of power, luxury, and exclusivity. With first deliveries expected in the fourth quarter of 2024, the Vanquish is set to become a coveted addition to the collections of automotive connoisseurs worldwide.
