Bentley Motors has introduced its latest tribute to the Armed Forces with a unique Bentayga EWB Mulliner created to honour Remembrance Day and commemorate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. This bespoke vehicle, designed by Bentley’s dedicated design team in collaboration with the BeReady network, embodies Bentley’s respect for those who have served. The BeReady network, a supportive space within Bentley for veterans and reservists, played a vital role in shaping this project, reinforcing Bentley’s dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Robin Page, Director of Design at Bentley Motors, reflected on the significance of the project, stating, “A symbol of our collective memory and the sacrifices made by countless individuals. Every detail reflects Bentley’s respect for history, while looking forward into the future.” This expression of Bentley’s ethos is evident in the meticulous attention to detail and the seamless blend of design and tribute.

This one-of-a-kind Bentayga EWB Mulliner features a striking poppy-themed design that wraps around its exterior. The design consists of 80 vibrant red poppies, each symbolising a life sacrificed for peace, rising from a map of northern France—a powerful reminder of the historical D-Day landings. The symbolism evokes the perilous journey from the south coast of England to the shores of northern Europe, showcasing Bentley’s recognition of bravery and unity through its detailed craftsmanship. The bright red poppies stand out against the vehicle’s elegant finish, ensuring the message of remembrance and honour is clear from every angle.

This creation transforms the Bentayga into a moving tribute, connecting the past with the present while carrying forward a message of hope and respect. The project holds special importance for the BeReady network, which is part of Bentley’s five Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) networks. This initiative provides a supportive environment for veterans and active reservists within Bentley.

James Lynam, Functional Project Manager Body In White at Bentley and co-chair of the BeReady network, underscored the car’s meaningful representation: “Remembrance is an important time for the BeReady network and Bentley, a time to reflect on the sacrifices of the Armed Forces. This year, with the 80th anniversary of D-Day, we worked together to create a design that honours the bravery of those who served, capturing the perilous journeys of soldiers in an instantly recognisable, powerful way.”

The Remembrance Car is set to travel across the UK to participate in significant events marking this year’s commemorations. Starting with Bentley’s local community in Crewe, the car’s journey will include a pivotal appearance at the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey, an event organised by Mission Motorsport that unites the motorsport and Armed Forces communities. The Bentayga will serve as the course car at this event, symbolising reflection and unity. The car will return to Bentley’s Crewe headquarters on 11 November, where colleagues will gather for a moment of collective remembrance. Following this, the vehicle will be showcased at the His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire Awards on 13 November, representing Bentley’s ongoing pledge to honour and support the Armed Forces.
