Four bespoke Bentayga EWB Azure models join The Peninsula Hong Kong

Bentley Motors has delivered four bespoke Bentayga EWB Azure SUVs to The Peninsula Hong Kong, adding a new level of refinement to the hotel’s fleet of chauffeur-driven vehicles. As a flagship property of The Peninsula Hotels since its opening in 1928, this iconic establishment now joins its London counterpart in offering guests the ultimate luxury experience on the road.

The Peninsula Hong Kong’s decision to incorporate the extended-wheelbase Bentayga into its fleet marks a significant enhancement of its hospitality offerings. These vehicles, prepared by Bentley’s in-house coachbuilding division Mulliner, have been tailored to meet the hotel’s exacting standards. With a larger cabin than any competitor in its class, the Bentayga EWB Azure is designed to deliver unparalleled comfort and sophistication.

Each of the four Bentayga EWBs was custom-designed in collaboration with Mulliner, ensuring they embody both the spirit of Bentley and the distinct identity of The Peninsula Hotels. Finished in Peninsula Green, a shade exclusively crafted for this project, the SUVs reflect the hotel’s signature aesthetic. The striking green hue is complemented by painted brightware on the lower body and matrix grilles in the lower bumper apertures, creating a clean and contemporary appearance. Adding a touch of elegance, a two-piece golden coachline in Honey traces the vehicle’s profile, seamlessly integrating with the luxurious design.

To signify their connection to The Peninsula Hong Kong, the front doors of each car feature the emblem of The Hong Kong and Shanghai Hotels, Limited—the parent company of The Peninsula Hotels. This detail underscores the bespoke nature of the vehicles and their role as an extension of the hotel’s identity.

Inside, the Bentayga EWB Azure’s cabin represents a modern take on classic Bentley themes. The interior features a 4+1 seating configuration, where Saddle leather dominates the upholstery, accented by Beluga leather on the dashboard, door waistrails, and steering wheel. Warm Burr Walnut wood veneers provide a perfect contrast to the leather tones, appearing on the dashboard, waistrails, and veneered picnic tables mounted on the front seatbacks.

Embroidered Bentley emblems in Saddle adorn the seats, while additional bespoke features enhance the rear cabin’s functionality and comfort. Mood Lighting creates a soothing ambiance, while the Rear Seat Entertainment system allows passengers to work, browse the internet, or stream content on the go. Mulliner’s attention to detail is evident in features such as bespoke towel bins and tissue boxes integrated into the rear door pockets, illuminated treadplates bearing “THE PENINSULA” logo, and custom 70mm metal signage discreetly placed throughout the cabin.

The new vehicles officially began service in late November 2024, elevating The Peninsula Hong Kong’s renowned chauffeur service. Designed to provide an unparalleled level of comfort and convenience, these cars ensure that every journey reflects the hotel’s commitment to excellence. The Peninsula Hong Kong is now the second hotel in the Peninsula portfolio to integrate Bentley vehicles into its fleet, following the introduction of bespoke Bentayga Hybrids at The Peninsula London earlier in 2024.
