HOF’s custom Mercedes-AMG G63 “Sir Class” is the fastest G-Wagen in history

While Hamilton will move on to Ferrari for the next chapter of his career, the Sir Class ensures that his legacy with Mercedes-AMG Petronas will endure. Share

The Mercedes-AMG G63 — known for its imposing presence and off-road capabilities — has been transformed into an automotive masterpiece by HOF. The German tuning firm’s inaugural vehicle, aptly named the “Sir Class,” is a tribute to Lewis Hamilton, celebrating his legendary career as he prepares to race for Mercedes-AMG Petronas one last time at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton is synonymous with greatness in the world of Formula 1. With seven driver’s championships, a record-breaking 105 wins, and 202 podium finishes, his achievements are unmatched. Most of these milestones were accomplished during his tenure with Mercedes, making the Sir Class a poignant nod to his illustrious career. The vehicle’s design mirrors the silver-to-black livery of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas race cars, paying homage to the team that defined an era of dominance in the sport.

Tiffany Green accents, a hallmark of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, are seamlessly integrated throughout the Sir Class. These vibrant details appear on the badging, side mirror caps, and the bespoke 23-inch forged wheels, giving the SUV a distinct connection to Hamilton’s racing heritage.

Under the hood lies a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine, meticulously rebuilt and tuned to deliver an astonishing 1,063 horsepower and 959 ft-lbs of torque. These figures obliterate the standard G63’s already impressive 585 horsepower and 627 ft-lbs. This newfound power translates into jaw-dropping performance: the Sir Class rockets from zero to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 186 mph. For comparison, the standard G63 takes 4.2 seconds to hit 60 mph and peaks at 137 mph. This makes the Sir Class the fastest G-Wagen in history, a fitting accolade for a vehicle inspired by one of the fastest drivers in the sport’s history.

Step inside, and the Sir Class continues to impress. The interior is a masterclass in craftsmanship, blending black Alcantara and Nappa leather with gunmetal and exposed carbon-fiber accents. Tiffany Green details carry over into the cabin, appearing on the headliner, which features a detailed outline of the Yas Marina Circuit where Hamilton will make his final Mercedes-AMG Petronas appearance.

The racing inspiration is evident in features such as the F1-style rectangular steering wheel and performance bucket seats, which add a dynamic edge to the otherwise luxurious cabin. The blend of high-performance aesthetics with refined materials ensures the Sir Class is as captivating inside as it is on the outside. HOF plans to build just 11 examples of the Sir Class, making it one of the most exclusive G-Wagen variants ever produced at a $690,000 price tag.
