Mansory unveils MCX Pergusa, a limited-edition transformation based on the Maserati MC20
With a top speed of 335 km/h and acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds, the MCX PERGUSA merges elite performance with exclusive, high-end aesthetic refinements. ShareMansory, a Bavarian luxury tuner renowned for refining high-performance sports cars from leading premium automobile manufacturers, has recently focused its expertise on a new project involving the Maserati MC20, a vehicle produced in Modena. This decision marks a slight shift from the company’s previous preference for Maranello-based vehicles, spotlighting another major Italian automotive brand.
“Next to Ferrari, Maserati is without a doubt one of the biggest names in automotive history,” said Kourosh Mansory, CEO and founder of Mansory Design and Holding GmbH. “With the MC20, Maserati has brought an excellent basic vehicle onto the market that almost imposes itself on the needs and wishes of our customers and at the same time offers many conversion options, so that after our debut “Mansory FIRST EDITION”, the corresponding spider version “CIELO “Now logically another derivative of the MC20 is being launched with the “Mansory MCX PERGUSA” with its full carbon body,” Kourosh Mansory continues.
The Mansory MCX PERGUSA distinguishes itself through a complete redesign that incorporates only the most exquisite elements of automotive enhancement. This includes a body predominantly crafted from forged carbon, significant performance enhancements, comprehensive chassis modifications, and elegant forged lightweight rims in black. The interior also receives a luxurious overhaul with premium leather and carbon fibre elements. This model is extremely exclusive, with only five units produced.
The design commands attention with its uncompromising commitment to high performance, evident in its full carbon body. The car features prominently enlarged air inlets integrated into the carbon front apron for optimal cooling and a new front lip that, along with additional flaps, significantly boosts front-axle downforce. The signature carbon craftsmanship of Mansory is evident in the carbon wheel arches and the side air scoop extending to the windshield frame, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
Additionally, the side cooling air inlets and a new carbon bonnet are designed to optimise airflow to the potent V6 biturbo engine, which is strategically mounted longitudinally ahead of the rear axle. The rear of the car is just as impressively designed, with a new carbon rear wing and a double diffuser that increases downforce, topped off with a striking four-pipe exhaust system that enhances the car’s powerful stance.
In terms of performance, Mansory has made several upgrades to the MC20’s engine, boosting the 3.0L V6 biturbo from the standard 630 hp and 730 Nm of torque to an impressive 750 hp and 880 Nm. This enhancement is achieved through modifications to the engine peripherals and the integration of a new in-house high-performance exhaust system and advanced engine electronics. These upgrades enable the MCX PERGUSA to achieve a top speed of 335 km/h and accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.6 seconds.
The vehicle’s exceptional handling is supported by an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive, alongside newly developed Mansory chassis components. The car rides on ultra-light “FV.5C” forged rims, sized 9.5 x 21 inches at the front and 12 x 22 inches at the rear, wrapped in high-performance sports tires. This setup ensures optimal lateral dynamics and stability at high speeds. The colour-customizable brake calipers, branded with the Mansory logo, add a personalised touch.
Internally, the vehicle offers a fully customisable interior, allowing customers to choose their preferred colour schemes and configurations. The showcased vehicle features an orange and black interior theme, with glove-soft leather upholstery demonstrating the highest craftsmanship and attention to detail. This can be seen in the coordinated orange seat belts with black Mansory logos, leather floor mats, and a carbon-finished Mansory sports leather steering wheel, which collectively enhance the luxurious and refined cabin atmosphere.
