German automotive specialist Novitec has once again demonstrated their mastery in supercar enhancement with their latest creation: the limited-edition Ferrari 296 GTS N-Largo. This breathtaking transformation takes Ferrari’s already impressive open-top sportscar to extraordinary new heights.
The N-Largo widebody version, crafted by renowned German designer Vittorio Strosek, expands the two-seater to an impressive 208 centimeters in width—12 centimeters wider than the production model. This carbon fiber body conversion kit isn’t just about aesthetics; it was refined in wind tunnels to ensure outstanding aerodynamic efficiency while maintaining the perfect balance between lightweight construction and strength.
From the front, the N-Largo fascia presents an aggressive stance, complemented by an exposed-structure carbon lip spoiler that reduces front-axle lift for enhanced high-speed stability. The widened fenders feature functional gill-shaped ventilation slots that dissipate brake heat while accommodating the custom-designed Novitec NF11 wheels—21 inches at the front and 22 inches at the rear—emphasizing the mid-engine sportscar’s dynamic wedge shape.
The rear of the vehicle is equally spectacular, featuring a Novitec diffuser and ducktail spoiler (or optional rear wing) that not only create a striking appearance but also generate crucial downforce. Novitec’s sports springs lower the ride height by approximately 35 millimeters, while an optional front lift system raises the front end by 40 millimeters at the touch of a button—perfect for navigating speed bumps or parking structures.
Performance enhancements include flow-optimized turbo inlets, 100-cell metal catalysts, and high-performance exhaust systems available in stainless steel or lightweight INCONEL—the same high-tech alloy used in Formula 1. These modifications boost the twin-turbo V6 engine by 38 horsepower, resulting in a formidable system output of 868 hp for the hybrid drive.
The Novitec N-Largo concept extends beyond the convertible, with versions also available for the fixed-roof 296 GTB. Inside, the cockpit can be fully customized with Alcantara and leather in any desired color.
