The Ferrari 296 GTB and GTS mark a significant milestone in Ferrari’s 75-year history, as they are the first supercars to sport the Prancing Horse badge with a V6 engine. These models combine Ferrari’s new “Piccolo V12” V6 engine with electric power, making them powerful performance machines. The 296 GTS also introduces the thrill of open-air driving with its retractable roof.

Renowned for customising the world’s top supercars and hypercars, Novitec has launched a range of enhancements for the Ferrari 296 GTS. Known for its customisations and modifications to the highest echelon of supercars, Novitec’s enhancements for the 296 GTS include modifications to the car’s appearance, aerodynamics, and performance. Thanks to its innovative hybrid drive system, the Ferrari 296 GTS is already one of the most powerful open-top sports cars on the market.

Novitec’s specialists and designers have developed a comprehensive refinement package that further enhances this Italian two-seater. The tailor-made naked-carbon bodywork components not only elevate the car’s visual appeal but also improve its aerodynamics. The Novitec NF10 high-tech alloy wheels, developed in collaboration with Vossen, emphasise the car’s wedge shape with a combination of 21-inch front and 22-inch rear wheels.

To boost the Ferrari 296 GTS’s performance, Novitec offers upgrades such as flow-optimized turbo inlets, a high-performance exhaust system, and sports catalysts. These modifications increase the engine’s output by 38 horsepower, bringing the total system output to 638 kW / 868 hp. Novitec’s philosophy of enhancing the world’s most exclusive automobiles includes optimising aerodynamic efficiency and refining the car’s aesthetics.

For the 296 GTS, Novitec developed bodywork components from naked carbon, finished with a high-gloss sealer. The front of the Ferrari is upgraded with a front lip spoiler and a large air intake spoiler, which enhance its appearance and reduce front-axle lift. The rear features a distinctive ducktail spoiler that increases downforce at high speeds, along with a carbon fibre diffuser and rear camera cover.

Novitec also offers carbon rocker panels, side mirror trim, and covers for the side air intakes at the rear, which improve the vehicle’s airflow management. The NF10 alloy wheels, with their five twin spokes, are produced exclusively by Vossen using advanced forging and machining technologies. These wheels feature hubcaps with centre-lock styling and are available in sizes 9.5Jx21 with 255/30 ZR 21 tyres at the front and 11.5Jx22 with 335/25 ZR 22 tyres at the rear. The NF10 rims come in 72 colours and offer brushed or polished finishes.

To enhance the car’s handling, Novitec offers sports springs that lower the ride height by about 35 millimetres, making the handling crisper. Additionally, the hydraulic height adjustment system for the front axle helps manage speed bumps or parking garage ramps by raising the front by 40 millimetres at the touch of a button in the cockpit. The vehicle returns to its original height with another button press or automatically upon reaching 80 km/h.

Novitec achieves additional power through targeted modifications to the engine peripherals of the twin-turbo six-cylinder engine in the 296 GTS. The intake side benefits from flow-optimized custom turbo inlets, while the high-performance exhaust systems, made from stainless steel or INCONEL, are also flow-optimized. Novitec also offers bespoke cockpit refinements for all Ferrari models, using the finest leathers and Alcantara in a wide variety of colours to express maximum individuality.
