The Ferrari Purosangue, Maranello’s first venture into the SUV realm, has been given a performance makeover by Novitec, a tuner known for its bold takes on supercars. This transformation includes a roaring exhaust system, a set of striking alloy wheels, and lowered suspension springs. To amplify its visual drama, a carbon fiber body kit is also in the works.

Novitec has a long history of enhancing Ferraris, with a particular focus on V12-powered models. Their upgrades often revolve around performance-oriented exhaust systems, and the Purosangue is no exception. Buyers can choose from three custom exhaust options: one with flap activation, another with a pure race configuration, or a hybrid race system with flaps for adjustable sound levels. All three deliver an auditory experience that can jolt a neighbourhood awake.

The engine itself remains untouched for now, meaning the Purosangue retains its naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, which produces an impressive 715 horsepower (533 kW). Although no additional power has been added, Novitec claims that the enhanced exhaust system significantly alters the driving experience, making it feel like a completely different beast. With 715 horsepower already under the hood, it’s hard to imagine anyone needing more speed from Ferrari’s SUV. Instead, Novitec’s focus is on enhancing the presence and personality of this five-door powerhouse.

Even at a standstill, the upgrades command attention. The oversized quad tailpipes are paired with NF11 forged wheels finished in gold, creating a striking contrast against the Purosangue’s sleek bodywork. Novitec also offers NF9 and NF10 wheel designs, customizable in a wide range of colors to suit individual preferences.

For those seeking even greater visual drama, Novitec’s upcoming carbon fiber body kit promises to take the Purosangue’s aesthetic to another level. It’s expected to feature aggressive wide fender extensions and a redesigned splitter, enhancing the SUV’s stance and giving it a more muscular appearance.

In addition to its visual and auditory enhancements, Novitec has lowered the Purosangue’s ride height by 25-30 mm (1-1.2 inches) with a set of sport springs. These springs are compatible with Ferrari’s factory lift system, maintaining practicality while delivering a more dynamic look. Optional spacers can be added for an even broader stance, further emphasizing the SUV’s aggressive demeanour. Novitec’s upgrades are currently available to order, although pricing remains undisclosed.

As for the highly anticipated carbon fiber body kit, it’s set to debut in the coming months, adding another layer of customization for those who want to push the boundaries of Ferrari’s first SUV.
