Novitec unveils a custom version of the acclaimed Italian open-top supercar, the Maserati MC20 Cielo

Novitec has customized the Maserati MC20 Cielo, enhancing its performance, aerodynamics, and aesthetics, resulting in a 711-horsepower open-top supercar. Share

Novitec, renowned for customizing exotic and luxury cars, has given the MC20 Cielo a signature makeover, transforming it into a unique creation. Maserati had introduced the MC20 supercar, to bring together the duality of two worlds; being able to see more when the roof is retracted and enjoying the same acceleration, power and driving dynamics as its twin—the MC20 Coupe—when closed. Equipped with the innovative Nettuno V6 engine, lightweight carbon fiber construction, and a futuristic design, Novitec’s customisation of the MC20 Cielo expands on this by offering an open-top version that combines powerful performance with open-air excitement.

Novitec added carbon fibre aerodynamic accents throughout the exterior, which enhance both the car’s motorsport-inspired look and its performance. A new set of wheels from Novitec also distinguishes this custom Maserati from the standard model. The customizations enhance both the look and sound of the MC20 Cielo. A revised exhaust system audibly showcases the prowess of Maserati’s innovative Nettuno V6 engine, responsible for the car’s high speeds and rapid acceleration. These enhancements take the MC20 Cielo’s supercar excellence to the next level.

Novitec reimagined the MC20 Cielo’s exterior with aerodynamic upgrades, including a new front spoiler and a subtle ducktail rear spoiler that improve both aesthetics and efficiency. The addition of naked carbon inserts for the air intakes adds an aggressive elegance, showcasing Novitec’s attention to detail.

In collaboration with Vossen, Novitec introduced the NF11 wheels, designed to complement the MC20 Cielo’s striking design. These wheels feature five pairs of twin spokes and are available in 72 different colours and various surface finishes, allowing owners to personalize their vehicle. This partnership enhances both the car’s performance and visual appeal.

Under the hood, Novitec has enhanced the six-cylinder Nettuno engine with a high-flow exhaust system, available in stainless steel or Inconel. This system features active butterfly valves that optimize exhaust flow and enhance the car’s sonic profile. With an engine retune, the MC20 Cielo’s output is boosted to 711 horsepower. This upgrade reduces the 0-62 mph acceleration time to 2.8 seconds and pushes the top speed to 201 mph, solidifying the MC20 Cielo’s position as a top-tier luxury sports car.
