Rolls-Royce has unveiled the Ghost Series II, a powerful and driver-focused evolution of its most popular model. Built with clients’ requests in mind, the Ghost Series II retains its familiar, monolithic design while incorporating advanced technologies and refinements that make it the most dynamic, technologically advanced V12 Rolls-Royce ever created. The car’s powerful twin-turbocharged engine and cutting-edge suspension and chassis systems ensure a smooth and exhilarating driving experience, while its minimalist exterior serves as an ideal canvas for bespoke customizations.

The Ghost Series II marks a continuation of a legacy that began in 2009, when the first generation was introduced to cater to a new breed of luxury consumer. These clients sought a more approachable and versatile vehicle than the Phantom, and one that embodied the core values of Rolls-Royce while offering more driver engagement. The second-generation Ghost, launched in 2020, further developed these ideals, adding the most advanced V12 technology Rolls-Royce had ever built, coupled with design purity and elegant craftsmanship.

Rolls-Royce’s dedication to client feedback is evident in the design enhancements seen in Ghost Series II. The vehicle’s exterior has been refined with modern styling updates, including the illuminated Pantheon grille, which remains a hallmark of Rolls-Royce design. New headlight graphics emphasize the car’s width, while chrome details around the grille form a ‘floating’ base for the Spirit of Ecstasy mascot. The rear of the car has been updated with vertical taillights that echo the design language of the Spectre model, adding further elegance to the Ghost’s already striking profile.

Rolls-Royce’s attention to detail extends to the car’s new exterior colour, Mustique Blue. Inspired by the Caribbean island of the same name, this hue was developed using glass and mica flakes to evoke the shimmer of sunlight on the ocean. The colour also pays homage to one of the earliest driver-focused Rolls-Royces, a 1929 Phantom II Continental prototype finished in a similar blue shade, which went on to win the Prix d’Honneur at the 1930 Biarritz Concours d’Elegance. Ghost Series II also offers two new 22-inch wheel designs, available in fully polished or part-polished finishes. At the heart of the Ghost Series II is its 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine, which delivers effortless power and performance. Paired with an eight-speed transmission and all-wheel steering, this engine offers incredible agility and control.

Inside the Ghost Series II, craftsmanship meets technology in perfect harmony. The Central Information Display, now housed within a pillar-to-pillar glass panel, offers clients the ability to extend their bespoke commissions into the digital realm. The digital instrument dials can be tailored to match the car’s interior or exterior colours, while the system integrates with Rolls-Royce’s private members’ app, Whispers. This app allows owners to send destinations directly to their car, monitor its location, and manage vehicle settings remotely.

The Ghost Series II also introduces Duality Twill, a fabric made from bamboo, inspired by the bamboo groves surrounding Sir Henry Royce’s former home in the French Riviera. This textile is available in three colours and can be tailored with up to 51 different thread hues, offering clients endless possibilities for personalization. Alternatively, clients can opt for Placed Perforation, a technique that uses perforations in the seat leather to create intricate, three-dimensional patterns. The Spirit of Ecstasy Clock Cabinet houses an illuminated timepiece alongside a stainless-steel figurine, adding a touch of elegance to the dashboard.

For clients who require additional rear seat space, the Ghost Extended Series II offers 170mm of extra room, without compromising the car’s dynamic capabilities. This extended version preserves the elegant silhouette of the standard model but adds significant rear-seat comfort, making it ideal for those seeking more luxurious rear seating. Clients can also choose Serenity Seating, which reclines to provide an experience akin to a private jet cabin, enhancing comfort and relaxation. The addition of a bespoke Champagne cooler with dual temperature settings ensures that both vintage and non-vintage Champagnes are served at the perfect temperature.

Ghost Extended Series II maintains the same powerful 6.75-litre twin-turbocharged V12 engine and advanced suspension systems as the standard Ghost Series II, providing an exceptional driving experience whether the car is driven by the owner or a chauffeur. The longer wheelbase enhances rear-seat comfort while preserving the same level of agility and control that the Ghost Series II is known for. Rolls-Royce clients commissioning the Ghost Extended can expect all the bespoke options available on the standard model, plus the added indulgence of expanded rear space.
