Briland Club Hotel, Residences & Marina, a 27-acre luxury development on Harbour Island, has announced a partnership with The Royal Portfolio, a hospitality group known for high-end properties, bespoke service, and purpose-led operations. This marks The Royal Portfolio’s first project in the Bahamas. The development offers 60 residential properties, including Coral Cottages, Villas, and Estate Homes, with prices starting at $4 million. The new phase will expand the project with private residences, a boutique hotel, spa, additional dining experiences, and enhanced club amenities. The Royal Portfolio will manage all operations, including concierge services and curated experiences. Property sales are exclusively handled by The Isles Group in Nassau, in partnership with Douglas Elliman Development Marketing.

“The Royal Portfolio will carry forward our vision of creating a luxury community on Harbour Island. Its devotion to world-class hospitality complements our focus on delivering exceptional residential and lifestyle experiences rooted in service, sustainability, and respect for local culture,” said Michael Wiener, Chairman of Briland Club Hotel, Residences & Marina.

Briland Club’s existing Coral Cottages, designed by Bunny Williams, offer two-bedroom, 2.5-bath layouts with 2,100 square feet of living space, including a 700-square-foot veranda for indoor-outdoor living. Club Cottages under development include two configurations: a two-bedroom, 3,300-square-foot layout and a three-bedroom, 3,700-square-foot option.

As the only bay-to-beach property on Harbour Island, Briland Club provides residents and visitors with views of both the ocean and the harbour. Its megayacht marina, the only one of its kind on the island, accommodates vessels between 75 and 300 feet. Features include Ipe wood floating docks, in-slip fuelling, pump-out stations, and fire suppression systems, setting a new standard for yacht facilities in the Bahamas.

The development incorporates modern sustainability measures, including surplus clean power generation, advanced purified water systems, and environmentally conscious designs that support marine ecosystems such as coral reefs, mangroves, and seagrass beds. Elevated construction enhances resilience to environmental factors. Harbour Island, known locally as “Briland,” is celebrated for its colonial charm, turquoise waters, and rich Loyalist history dating back to the 1700s. Briland Club’s design blends this heritage with modern elegance, respecting the island’s cultural roots while delivering a contemporary luxury lifestyle.

“We are excited to partner with Briland Club to bring The Royal Portfolio’s purpose-led luxury travel experiences to the Bahamas. For 25 years, our purpose and values have been at the heart of everything we do, and expanding them internationally has always been part of the vision,” said Phil Biden, Founder of The Royal Portfolio.

Future developments will include a resort clubhouse, pools, a gym and spa, and expanded dining options. The project will reflect The Royal Portfolio’s signature approach to hospitality while appealing to global buyers through partnerships with Douglas Elliman, The Isles Group, and Knight Frank Residential.
