In 2027, Capella Hotels and Resorts will unveil Capella Nanjing, an architectural masterpiece designed by David Chipperfield Architects. This marks the brand’s third property in China, combining the clean, modern lines of its 190 guest rooms, suites, and villas with the historic charm of Nanjing’s cultural heart. Seamlessly integrated into the city’s urban landscape, Capella Nanjing merges past and present through serene gardens and a central 360-year-old ginkgo tree. Located near Changjiang Road, the heart of Nanjing’s historical and cultural district with over 1,800 years of history, Capella Nanjing is within walking distance of landmarks such as Jiangning Weaving Museum, Presidential Palace, Mei Garden Memorial, and Oriental Metropolitan Museum.
