Dusit expands its presence in the Maldives with all-inclusive lifestyle resort near Malé

Dusit Hotels and Resorts, the hotel arm of Dusit International has signed an agreement with Pearl Atoll Pvt Ltd to manage dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives—a 125-key lifestyle resort on a private island near the main island of Malé. Currently under construction and slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2024, the new resort will operate under Dusit’s upscale dusitD2 brand and will be the company’s first ‘all-inclusive’ property.

Located just five minutes by speedboat from Malé International Airport, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives will offer a range of spacious overwater villas and family suites, varying from 77 to 319 square meters. The resort will feature a kids club, multiple food and beverage outlets, a fully equipped gym, and a signature Namm Spa providing a wide range of Thai massage therapies and beauty treatments. Guests will have access to three main private beaches and a smaller ‘picnic beach’ for memorable meals on the sands.

In addition to its prime location and luxurious accommodations, the resort’s developers plan to open a resort-based entertainment hub and a small convention centre. These facilities will cater to guests beyond the core resort experience and will be managed by Dusit. The announcement of these additions will be made at a later date. Meticulous attention will be paid to ensure all resort elements seamlessly blend with the surrounding environment. Dusit’s group-wide sustainability program, Tree of Life, will be implemented to minimize environmental impact through processes and systems that support sustainability. dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives will be Dusit’s second resort in the Maldives, joining the award-winning Dusit Thani Maldives on Mudhdhoo Island in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.

The gym and yoga studios will cater to fitness enthusiasts, while the on-site surf school and three swimming pools offer additional recreational options. The dining outlets, including an all-day dining restaurant, a speciality Japanese restaurant, and a poolside bar, will provide guests with diverse culinary experiences.

With the inclusion of an entertainment hub and convention centre, dusitD2 Feydhoo Maldives aims to go beyond the traditional resort experience. These facilities will enhance the resort’s appeal to a broader audience, including business travellers and event organizers.
