The much-anticipated Grand Hyatt Deer Valley has officially opened its doors, offering a refined and luxurious experience for those seeking adventure and relaxation in one of the most stunning alpine settings in North America. This remarkable resort introduces 436 thoughtfully designed accommodations, including 55 residential suites, and sits within the newly developed Deer Valley East Village. Developed by Extell Development Company, this village is the first luxury alpine hub of its kind in the region since 1981. Nestled between the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains, the resort provides direct access to Deer Valley Resort, which will unveil over 300 acres of fresh terrain, including 20 new runs and three modern chairlifts during the 2024/2025 ski season.

The accommodations at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley combine elegance with comfort, creating a retreat inspired by the natural beauty and rich history of the area. Designed by OZ Architecture, the interiors echo the region’s mining heritage through the use of materials like metal and stone, seamlessly paired with modern design elements. Oversized windows frame breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains, Heber Valley, and Jordanelle Reservoir, inviting the outdoors into each room.

The 381 spacious guest rooms include spa-inspired bathrooms and walk-in closets, while the residential suites add the luxury of private balconies, kitchenettes, and fireplaces. Every room is equipped with state-of-the-art amenities, from large flat-screen TVs to Nespresso machines, ensuring guests enjoy a contemporary and seamless experience. Beyond the rooms, guests can unwind by the heated outdoor pool, soak in one of three oversized hot tubs, or enjoy panoramic vistas from the expansive pool deck.

Dining at Grand Hyatt Deer Valley promises to elevate the culinary landscape of Park City. Under the leadership of Chef Viktor Merenyi and mixologist Frank Maldonado, the resort showcases a selection of innovative dining concepts that celebrate local ingredients and bold flavors. At the heart of this culinary journey is Remington Hall, a restaurant that redefines American cuisine with standout dishes like bison tartare and wild boar bolognese.

Adjacent to the main dining room, the Lounge at Remington Hall offers a casual yet elevated atmosphere, perfect for après-ski gatherings. For those seeking a more intimate setting, Hidden Ace, a speakeasy-inspired bar, features a curated selection of rustic cocktails and small plates, complemented by live music and DJ sets. Meanwhile, the Living Room provides a family-friendly space where guests can indulge in a decadent hot chocolate service, complete with artisanal treats, and Double Blacks, the resort’s coffee shop, serves up house-made pastries alongside locally inspired beverages like Utah’s beloved dirty sodas.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley also positions itself as a leading destination for conferences and events. With nearly 30,000 square feet of versatile event space, the resort is ideal for gatherings of all sizes, from intimate celebrations to large-scale conferences. The 10,000-square-foot grand ballroom offers an elegant setting for memorable occasions, while private breakout spaces provide flexibility for more intimate gatherings. Blending modern amenities with natural beauty, the resort’s event spaces feature cutting-edge audiovisual support and panoramic views of the Jordanelle Reservoir, making them as functional as they are picturesque.

Beyond the resort’s accommodations and dining, the guest experience is enriched by a series of innovative programs and partnerships. Collaborations with organizations like the Military Installation Development Authority (MIDA) provide exclusive benefits for service members, while a partnership with Ski Butlers offers a white-glove ski valet service for guests eager to hit the slopes. For families, the resort features age-appropriate programming through the Camp Hyatt Kids Club and a dedicated teen space, the Nexus Lounge, equipped with arcade-style consoles and interactive games. Additionally, a partnership with Radio Flyer brings a sense of nostalgia and fun to guests of all age.

Grand Hyatt Deer Valley’s opening is marked by special packages and offers designed to enhance the guest experience. Travellers can take advantage of the Grand Opening Offer, which includes a $200 resort credit and a swag bag filled with cosy branded items. World of Hyatt members can also earn additional rewards through February 2025.
