Oetker Collection, known for its ultra-luxury properties worldwide, will open a new hotel in Saint-Tropez in 2027. This project, in partnership with the Pariente family—owners of L’Apogée Courchevel—and Arthur Essebag’s AW Resort, promises to blend modern sophistication with the authentic charm of Provence. The architecture will be led by Olivier Raffaëlli of Triptyque, with interiors by Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier of Gilles & Boissier. Together, their vision is set to elevate the hotel into a standout addition to Oetker Collection’s portfolio.

The design reflects the natural elegance of Saint-Tropez and Provence, with interconnected two-story houses inspired by provincial farmhouses. Olivier Raffaëlli described the property as “a place where the soul of Saint-Tropez comes to life through its architecture. Discreetly nestled in the hillside, this haven bathed in light evokes a timeless space, as if it had always been part of the Tropezian landscape.”

Patrick Gilles and Dorothée Boissier bring their signature refined style to the interiors, emphasizing simplicity and a connection to nature. Rooms will feature arched windows that open onto terraces with sea or garden views, creating a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. The lobby will have delicate plaster walls with intricate patterns, white stone floors, and a timeless aesthetic that embodies understated luxury.

The property’s layout will offer breathtaking views of the Mediterranean and surrounding landscapes, integrating seamlessly into its hillside setting. The exteriors feature textured plaster walls, Roman-inspired arches, and warm wooden beams, creating a harmony of modernity and tradition.

“Everything here is immediate as if immersed in the essence of simplicity,” said Boissier. Their philosophy ensures that the property remains elegant yet grounded, with natural materials and thoughtful detailing that honour the region’s character.

The hotel will include 53 rooms and suites, each designed to offer comfort and privacy. Every room will feature a private terrace or patio, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the stunning surroundings. The interiors will combine modern amenities with rustic charm, ensuring a tranquil and inviting atmosphere for visitors. The property’s amenities are designed to complement its serene setting. An infinity pool will overlook the Mediterranean, providing a luxurious spot to relax. A wellness facility will offer a range of treatments for guests seeking rejuvenation, while the on-site restaurant and bar will celebrate the flavours of Provence with fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Located in Ramatuelle, between the town of Saint-Tropez and the iconic Pampelonne beaches, the hotel will undoubtedly capture the essence of the Riviera. Following recent openings such as Hotel La Palma in Capri and the soon-to-debut Vineta Hotel in Palm Beach, this project underscores Oetker Collection’s commitment to expanding thoughtfully into the world’s most glamorous locations.
