Raffles Hotels & Resorts debuts in Jaipur, India
Raffles Jaipur opens with suites featuring expansive balconies, hand-carved white marble, and dining inspired by Mughal and Rajputana traditions, set against the backdrop of the Aravalli Hills. ShareRaffles Hotels & Resorts proudly introduces Raffles Jaipur—a magnificent retreat that brings the brand’s signature elegance and glamour to Jaipur, India. Located near the attractions of the ‘Pink City’ and surrounded by the ancient Aravalli Hills, Raffles Jaipur is a contemporary reimagining of a palace, reflecting the regal art of living.
“We are incredibly excited to welcome guests to Raffles Jaipur, the brand’s second property in India. At Raffles, we look for world-renowned destinations rich with history, beauty, and culture, which is what led us to grow our presence in Rajasthan—whose ancient heritage of forts and palaces continues to inspire and capture the imagination of international travellers. We thank Ratan Kant Sharma and our partners at Triton Hotels and Resorts for sharing a likeminded vision and commitment to luxury, helping us bring this extraordinary hotel to life.”—Omer Acar, CEO of Raffles Hotels & Resorts
Crafted from pure white marble, Raffles Jaipur showcases exceptional Rajasthani craftsmanship. Each element of this palace retreat is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans, blending Mughal and Rajputana architectural traditions. The hotel features 50 unique guestrooms and suites, each with an expansive balcony offering an outdoor soaking tub or plunge pool. Intricate details, such as painted corniced ceilings, golden murals, camel bone inlay furniture, locally sourced artefacts, and Jaipur-woven carpets, grace every corner of the accommodations.
Raffles Jaipur offers a deep connection to local culture. Guests are greeted by a Shikar tent reminiscent of Royal Mughal expeditions, and the courtyard’s sandstone columns carved from different eras of Rajasthani architecture provide a glimpse into the past. The grand hall is adorned with Mughal furnishings and patterned marble floors, leading to an atrium inspired by the women’s quarters of the Mughal court.
Raffles Jaipur is set to become a culinary destination, offering modern interpretations of local gastronomy. Arkaa, the speciality restaurant, celebrates the essence of the Progressive North Indian region using locally sourced ingredients from micro-farms. The Writers Bar offers drinks featuring freshly ground spices and herbs from the hotel’s garden, including the Jaipur Sling, a local twist on the famed Singapore Sling. Traditional afternoon tea is served in Safir, and the rooftop bar Sehara offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes with a focus on Italian specialities, all with stunning views of the Aravalli Hills.
The hotel’s signature scent of neroli, orange blossom, and saffron fills the air. Raffles Jaipur also features the brand’s legendary Butler Service, where dedicated butlers cater to every need, from curating bespoke experiences to providing heartfelt care. Unique to Raffles Jaipur, butlers offer curated healing rituals traditional to Rajasthani culture, including botanical-infused baths, health elixirs from local spices, and plant-based ointments.
“Every element of Raffles Jaipur has been thoughtfully considered, from the architecture and design to the culinary offerings and wellness experiences. We hope to inspire our guests to immerse themselves in the local Rajasthani culture while inviting locals to experience their home through a lens that is distinct to Raffles.”—Binny Sebastian, General Manager of Raffles Jaipur
Guests can also indulge in a serene 620-square-meter spa with treatment rooms and mineral pools, a state-of-the-art fitness studio, and a rooftop pool with stunning city vistas. Raffles Jaipur will host a rich calendar of events and experiences, drawing guests deeper into local heritage and culture. This includes exclusive dining experiences, masterclasses with local artisans, and private concerts. Later this year, the hotel will unveil an Artisan Trail, allowing guests to connect with skilled local artisans and explore their crafts and stories. Raffles Jaipur is ideal for visitors wanting to explore further into Rajasthan, with Raffles Udaipur located just an hour away by flight.
