ShareRosewood Hotels & Resorts is expanding its Caribbean footprint with the announcement of Rosewood Exuma, set to open in 2028. In partnership with Miami-based Yntegra Group, this private island retreat will redefine luxury travel in the Exumas, a pristine archipelago of 365 islands in the Bahamas. Situated on the 124-acre East Sampson Cay, Rosewood Exuma will offer an unparalleled escape. The resort will feature 33 suites, each boasting breathtaking views of the island’s iconic pink and white sands and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Several suites will be beachfront, providing direct access to the pristine shores.
Guests will indulge in a world-class culinary experience with six distinct dining outlets showcasing the freshest local ingredients, including produce from the resort’s organic garden. Rosewood’s signature wellness concept, Asaya, will offer a sanctuary of tranquillity with six treatment rooms, a hydrotherapy facility, an outdoor pool, and a fitness centre. The resort will also feature an outdoor sports centre complete with tennis, padel, and pickleball courts, as well as a variety of water sports equipment.
A focal point of the resort will be a vibrant beach club, complete with a grill restaurant, beach and pool bars, and a private dining room. Two marinas with slips accommodating yachts up to 150 feet will cater to boaters exploring the Exumas, inviting them to experience the resort’s amenities. In addition to the beach club pool, Rosewood Exuma will offer two exclusive pools for overnight guests, including a family-friendly option. Young adventurers will be captivated by Rosewood Explorers, the brand’s signature children’s club, offering engaging activities that spark curiosity and foster a love for nature.
“We are enthusiastic about the partnership with Rosewood Hotels & Resorts and believe that the brand’s iconic hospitality expertise will help to redefine the industry in Exuma,” said Felipe MacLean, CEO of Yntegra Group. “This partnership represents our shared vision to create exceptional experiences that inspire and delight our guests while being good community partners who are committed to Exuma.”
Committed to preserving the natural beauty of the Exumas, Rosewood and Yntegra are prioritising sustainable development. Only 25% of the 124-acre island will be developed, and the resort will incorporate solar power to minimise its environmental impact. The design of Rosewood Exuma is thoughtfully planned to blend seamlessly with the island’s landscape, ensuring a harmonious coexistence with nature and a lasting legacy for future generations.
