Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) and Artisan Hospitality, led by a subsidiary of Singapore’s Oxley Holdings, have announced the opening of The Langham, Kuala Lumpur, set for 2027. This new hotel will be part of the prestigious Oxley Towers KLCC complex, located in the Golden Triangle area of Kuala Lumpur’s central business district. The location provides convenient access to the Petronas Twin Towers, KLCC Park, several shopping malls, and the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The collaboration between LHG and Oxley Holdings aims to bring an elevated level of luxury to the Malaysian capital. Mr. Ching Chiat-kwong, Executive Chairman and CEO of Oxley Holdings, stated, “We are excited to collaborate with Langham Hospitality Group, a trusted name in the hospitality industry. Our partnership will not only introduce a spectacular hotel to Oxley Towers, but an elevated luxury brand in The Langham. The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will offer 198 luxurious guestrooms and suites, designed to provide comfort and elegance. Among its standout features is a sky pool, positioned as one of the highest in the city, offering breathtaking views of the Kuala Lumpur skyline. Dining will be elevated with an outpost of T’ang Court, an award-winning Cantonese restaurant originally from The Langham, Hong Kong. Guests can also enjoy a distinctive destination bar and a new location of Palm Court, renowned for its afternoon tea and inspired by The Langham, London.

This announcement follows LHG’s recent plans for The Langham, Customs House, Bangkok, and joins The Langham, Jakarta, expanding the group’s presence in Southeast Asia. “We look forward to bringing our flagship brand to Kuala Lumpur, a gateway city in a thriving part of the world that is also home to a notably robust travel market,” said LHG CEO Bob van den Oord. “The Langham, Kuala Lumpur will be a telling symbol of our vision to craft iconic, world-class hotels in Southeast Asia and beyond.”
